On September 26,2021 my daughter called me to inform me that our 3yr old family pet had passed away suddenly and i needed to rush to the UGA vet hospital…as I frantically made my way to the hospital an hour away, I was needless to say in shock from that moment on until now. As I enter the room  and speak with the veterinarian, I was offered the chance for a necropsy (same as an autopsy for humans) and of course I wanted to know what happened. Waiting for the results was a little over a 2week waiting game… I wanted facts to prevail as this situation was very traumatic for myself and my daughter….after the necropsy reading from the pathologist, all evidence pointed to my daughter’s boyfriend; Gabe Martinez, the reading included trauma on my baby’s neck and side and bleeding on the brain which led to her sudden death….needless to say I have been broken ever since.  I filed a police report the night of the necropsy reading and the investigation began. After all parties were questioned which included my daughter (which she was at work at the time of the crime )  and her boyfriend, he was the only person alone with YOSHA at this tragic time, the Athens Clark County investigation team was able to get the judge to sign a felony arrest warrant for Gabe Martinez which transpired November 9.2021.

I have been patiently waiting for this horrible act committed by someone who supposedly cares for my daughter with no luck as of now 2/2022

i was encouraged by strangers to get a petition going as I was informed this would be helpful once Gabe is arrested on his felony animal cruelty warrant.  Getting justice for my sweet beautiful YOSHA has been the only thing that has kept me somewhat alive.  PLEASE SIGN in hopes  THAT JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED TO THE MAXIMUM as this ordeal has been the most traumatic experience I’ve ever been faced with.
