Buddy, my registered Emotional support dog was strangled and killed by neibor in Walsenburg, Colorado.  He died in horrible pain needlessly as a direct result from Cruelty and Abuse from Ceaser noel Jemenez in Huerfano County. I returned from work and found buddy strangled to death in my yard with a bloody 2x4 near bye and a slipknot chain around his neck. My neibor, Ceaser, who brags that he's a breeder and handler, stated that he 'tied the dog up' after he 'supposedly' left my yard. He's expressed his dislike for Buddy in the past. I suffer from PTSD my dogs are my FAMILY!  I made a police and animal control complaint, thus far, to no avail! This dog killer needs to be rightfully charged for the murder of Buddy!

We Need see the laws concerning this abuse change so that it is just NOT 'Ok' to kill  someone's dog! Right now it is only a civil complaint sueable for damages: price of dog, which is PRICELESS, and funeral & court costs / a minor misdemeanor, if charged,  for support animals. **This needs to be a CRIMINAL offense with a heafty consequence!**   It is illegal to deny emotional support animals into housing, grocery, transit, in public ECT, but it just 'ok' to go àhead and kill n torture them??
