This petition is important because I want to be the voice for the voiceless. 

My name is Christina Rai, I'm 21 years old and live in the UK. I recently visited the Zoo in Kathmandu after many years on the 4th of April 2015, I used to love this zoo when I was younger I always made sure to make time with my uncle to visit every year. Looking back I didn't pay close attention to the care, environment and size of the enclosure the animal was kept in, only to realise after today how horrible it actually is. I am not writing this to disrespect the people who work there, I'm simply expressing my feelings against the way these animals have been kept.

I seriously did not enjoy the experience, it actually made me very upset and sad to see them the way they were. Most of the animals were skinny, looked ill or, were cramped in their enclosures. I understand Nepal is not amongst the wealthy countries however, if they really do care to keep these animals happy and looking healthy for people to visit everyday, they really NEED to do something about it. 

These innocent and beautiful animals deserve to be looked after better than they are now, and I really hope I get support via this petition in order to hopefully make a change. I would love for the animals to be kept and cared for in good and sanitary enclosure than they are at the moment. 

It is vital that I have your support to make this happen and create a happy and healthy environment for these beautiful creatures!

It's hard enough to see people with voices suffering, please don't avoid the voiceless.
