There has been an increasing amount of animal injustice and abuse within my town. Normally to solve this issue, one would contact the local animal control officers. However, they have proven time and time again that they are unprofessional and unsuccessful in fulfilling their duties. That is why I believe and ASPCA shelter should be located within Hot springs, Arkansas. Not only would it solve this issue, but more abandoned and abused animals would have a safe place to go. I have seen countless amounts of times when animal control was called to solve and issue, and walked away without doing anything. I find that to be unacceptable. Their job is to help animals, and they fail to do even the bare minimum. Which is why I believe locating a shelter here would solve that issue. People would have someone reliable to call and fix these issues.
