This is for the people that abuse there livestock, and non-livestock. By not feeding, abuse them, etc Animal Abusers Should be Register Like Sex Offenders!

Cruelly drive, work, or beat an animal, or cause an animal to be cruelly driven, worked, or beaten, while awaiting slaughter, Abandon an animal or cause an animal to be abandoned, in any place, without making provisions for the animal's adequate care, Negligently allow any animal, including one who is aged, diseased, maimed, hopelessly sick, disabled, or nonambulatory to suffer unnecessary neglect, torture, or pain, "Neglect" means to fail to sufficiently and properly care for an animal to the extent that the animal's health is jeopardized.

This is important because the law has three different categories : Animals , Livestock and Non Livestock. This law makes it hard to prevent the deaths of malnourished equines because of the fact they are labeled as livestock and as long as they have hay and water nothing will be done. This is an outrage and is detrimental to the horses health.

The only way help gets to these horses is if one of them die in their herd and are seen by proper officials. All animals are living things and all deserve the same protection and should not discriminate against because they are not dog or cats. This is inhumane and should be illegal !

The registry would function similar to the states sexual offender registry and would be accessible to anyone with a computer. Under the legislation, retail stores selling pets would not be required to check the registry before selling an animal.

If there in charge or custody of animal; prohibited conduct; forfeiture of animal; violation as misdemeanor or felony; penalty I would like to get it as a FELONY ONLY

FELONY; Imprisonment for not more than 4 years.

A fine of not more than $5,000.00.

Community service for not more than 500 hours

Humane society officials who offer an animal to a registered abuser would be subject to a $1,000 fine and/or one year in jail.

 Letters will be sent to President Obama and Congress
