Hello, There are numerous stray dogs in my society and the poor animals are being tortured and abused by the people living in the neighbourhood. A well wisher is currently being attacked by a mob of 40 people every evening. They are holding protests and asking her to stop feeding the animals and that she should also shift from her house. Last night stones were pelted on her window and the entrance door was broken and then locked from outside. They are not allowing her to come out of the house and threatening to assault her.  The Residents Welfare Association is not supporting her either and asking her to apologise to the people and stop feeding the animals. They are not helping her in any way with funds or through any other way. These animals are harmless and never bite anyone. I have been living in this society for 10 years and I am a witness to this fact that the dogs are harmless. The people, educated but behaving worse than uneducated have been torturing this woman for three days in a row. We need urgent help as the mob is capable of resorting to violence in an extreme way. They have beaten dogs that are fed and broken their legs too, claiming that they sit on their cars and are destroying it. We need help to save these poor animals who have nobody.
