I feel as if the Amish treat their horses in an inhumane fashion. Yes I understand that they are "work" animals. However, it is not humane for a horse to be pulling a buggie with multiple families on it in 90+ degree weather. With no water, foaming at the mouth, and most gasping for air while being whipped on their side because they are not going fast enough, or some other reason the "owner" of the horse has. I believe we as a community should petition for this to be considered animal cruelty. Not all horse and buggies, but when it's extremely to hot out and you can clearly see the horse is being abused.
