Still have to pass assessments

Even though my housing agreed to a GP letter over a OT assessment we still have to wait for all my son’s medical letters from his epilepsy team and GP to be assessed and approved by my housings own doctors. If they have their own drs and medical people why didn’t they just send one of them out in the first place to assess my property, why would their say be put above my sons medical team’s advice. This plus Lewisham’s nomination policy could still take us years to be moved into a safe property. Please keep sharing so we can reach as many people as possible, it shouldn’t be this hard to get a child a safe environment to live in.
