89 signatures reached!

The magic target of 89 signatures has been reached! This is the number of change.org signatures previously necessary to get Penny Sharpe to break a commitment. Supporters will recall that previously, 89 change.org signatures was enough to get Penny to break her commitment not to return to the upper house. Now, assuming she is consistent with this standard, she will surely reverse her position, as we have requested, and henceforth oppose all three stages of WestConnex. That's lucky because it comes just in time for the parliamentary debate that has been triggered by the gathering of 10,000 signatures. Taking such a position should be easier now also given that Jo Haylen, ALP member for Summer Hill has broken ranks with her party on the same issue.
