Humane Alliance of Rutherford County  (HARC)  ‘charity’, director Penny Jekot  allegedly promised to help an elderly couple train their dog but instead stole him to sell and make a profit off of.  Freda Haddix believes that Penny Jekot seeks to sell her dog Buddy for profit (if she has not already); this is not the first time Jekot has been accused of this crime.   Buddy’s mommy, Freda Haddix, is elderly and disabled so she spends much of her time at home with her husband and her beloved dog, Buddy.  Freda contacted the ‘charity’ looking for help house breaking Buddy.  It was Penny Jekot who offered to train Buddy but said she would have to take him with her and promised to return him once training was complete. That did not happen.

Before walking out of the Haddix home with Buddy Jekot asked for the Haddix’s signature on a BLANK PIECE OF PAPER.  Buddy’s family was told this was confirmation that Penny was taking Buddy but when Freda asked to see the paper again Jekot ran off in a hurry claiming she didn’t have time and was in a rush.   Freda tried several times to contact Jekot to see how the training was progressing but received little to know information.  The last time Freda called, Penny was horribly rude telling the Haddix’s to stop calling, they were not getting Buddy back.

Please guys, this case is receiving little to no attention outside of the news broadcast. PLEASE HELP GET THE HADDIX’S DOG BUDDY HOME. As mentioned before this is not the first time Penny has been accused of stealing a dog from an elderly home and reselling him/her for profit.  The Haddix family tried to contact the police but they said they were unable to do anything and that Freda should file a civil suit again Jekot.  BULLSH!T.

HOW ARE PEOPLE ALLOWED TO GO AROUND STEALING DOGS FROM LOVING HOMES, RESELLING THEM FOR PROFIT  AND RECEIVE NO REPROCUSSIONS!!?!?!? Forget even repercussions, how does this happen at all!?

Please folks, let’s get Buddy back home and ensure Penny never does this again.
