On July 4th, 2020, Senator Doug Mastriano of Pennsylvania's 33rd Senate District was seen and photographed with armed white supremacists in Gettysburg, PA. 

Leading up to the event, false Fakebook events with titles such as, "Gettysburg Flag Burning sponsored by ANTIFA," became a cause for concern for some in the community, leading to an outcry and a call to action to alt-right white supremacy groups. 

While Gettysburg officials and the police department concluded that these events were fabricated and unfounded, Gettysburg was still flooded with armed white supremacists, some of which harassed a resident, surrounded, and threatened a resident for wearing a shirt that said, "Black Lives Matter."

Senator Mastriano and his racist rhetoric have no place in our community and must go. We must identify racism, not only in the federal levels of our government, but also in our local levels, where it can be just as harmful and dangerous. Senator Mastriano must resign.
