As a parent of a senior high school student, I want to be able to watch my son/daughter participate in their sporting events. As a parent, I am able to Make the choice to accept the risk of being in a public space and should be able to make that choice to be there to watch and support my son and/or daughter. Social distancing can be maintained as well as adhering to the mask guidelines. I am overly concerned at the mental health aspect of our students because of fear due to COVID 19. Sports is just one small area where positive emotional and mental effects are achieved and to not allow parents and/or siblings to be there to support and encourage these students is just wrong!

Will you consider signing this petition to have PIAA change their guidelines to allow immediate family only to sporting events?
