Pennsylvania Game Commission: Free the Jim Mack's animals

For decades, Jim Mack's has been home to an embarrassing roadside zoo. In 2015, Ricki the bear was finally sent to a sanctuary after 19 years in a chain link and concrete prison cell thanks to a lawsuit spearheaded by local residents and the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Sadly, many different species still remain on the property, including, but not limited to; goats, llamas, geese, peacocks, and others. Many of which appear to be malnourished. Customers can spend their own money to feed the animals corn and dog food - a diet not fit for these animals. The owner had to be told to change the water more often, due to leaving them to drink from dirty, stagnant water that is meant for bathing and cooling off. Jim Mack has proven time and time again that he can not learn his lesson. Not only did the lawsuit not seem to change how he operates his animal business, he has also had many citations against him over the years.
On behalf of the animals currently housed on the property at Jim Mack's, and any animals that may be housed there in the future, we urge the PA Game Commission to revoke and/or deny renewal of any and all required licensure (menagerie or otherwise) from Jim Mack's and demand that James McDaniel Jr., owner and proprieter, relinquish all animals to a sanctuary, rescue, or similar facility.
