Currently there are 14 states that made it illegal to trap dogs in locked cars during extreme weather conditions. Pennsylvania is not one of them. Even worse, there are no penalties to those that do this even if the pet dies. Good Samaritans who come to the rescue for pets in need can be fined or even jailed for helping these trapped pets out. Let's get this petition going and get it loaded with signatures who demand that it be illegal to keep pets trapped in hot cars.
