The class of 2021 has spent an enormous amount of time and money on their education and deserves a real graduation ceremony. There is no reason Penn State can not hold a social distanced ceremony with the enormous amount of resources and space at University Park. 
Sports, clubs, and social opportunities have already been taken away at the hands of the COVID-19 pandemic, and graduation is a huge milestone that should not be taken away too. Penn State has months to plan a socially distanced graduation. The seniors deserve a real graduation ceremony, and should be able to opt in if others are still wary about COVID-19. We are asking for a planned, safe, graduation so that our accomplishments can be celebrated properly.
