Good morning everyone!

Wow, we have over 190 signatures so far! That's awesome. Thank you! This would not happen without you! I would love to see how far this petition goes. Let's get to 200!

By the way, here's some intriguing info I learned about Dr. Seuss Enterprises. It is actually a private company, not a nonprofit foundation. Dr. Seuss Enterprises is owned by Random House Children's Books, which is an arm of Penguin Random House, a merged American-British conglomerate publisher.

But here's the kicker. Penguin Random House was bought out in April 2020 by the German company Bertelsmann...an even bigger media conglomerate. That same year, Dr. Seuss Enterprises made the decision to cease the publication of six books behind closed doors in their offices. We only knew about it when they made their public announcement on March 2nd last week.

I truly believe that with enough signatures, the corporate offices in charge of Dr. Seuss Enterprises will listen to us. Dr. Seuss's books are distributed worldwide. We will need a lot of voices. I don't know exactly how many that is yet. But as a writer myself, I understand the magnitude of the situation. 

And we can make it happen. Big stuff always begins small. Remember what the Whos taught us...there is strength in numbers!

Everyone, please share this petition as much as you can. Email it, text it to your friends, share it on your social media pages, do whatever you can in your own spheres of influence. Let's show the conglomerates how big we are together. Who wants to restore these books?? I know I do. You do, too. That's why you signed. And I know there are more of us out there.
