The Labour and Lib Dem Coalition on Pendle Borough Council have forced through a budget that could mean the closure of Marsden Park Golf Course, flying in the face of public opinion. Marsden Park Golf Course is the only municipal golf course in Pendle and is one of Pendle's biggest attractions. If this wonderful facility is closed, the Labour-Lib Dem Council will no doubt attempt to build houses on the Greenfield site.
