During the covid-19 crisis,  we are living unprecedented days of our lives.  Unemployment rates like ever before, small business closing, people without resources looking for Government to step in, and in some cases they have; but there are companies out there to seem to be taking advantage of the situation.  FPL and the city of Pembroke Pines (water and waste management provider) seem to increased the cost of services as people demand more of the service itself.  BUT, in many cases there are complaints of the usage staying the same and bills almost doubling.  During this time we need our local government to step in and help relief the situation.   We want FPL and the City of Pembroke Pines to investigate the reason behind the increases, and revise the cost structure for the following 6 months.  A lot of community residents experienced a 60%-80% increase in their bill, we need to get it back to where it was and lower it more to help alleviate hardship in our community.
