After the investigation, Ron Sieh elected to resign as Pekin Code Enforcement Officer. He chose to resign rather than face the charges levied against him. He will receive no pension, but all of his vacation and sick pay due him. The city of Pekin, IL is making some changes to make sure a situation such as this one never happens again. At least some good came out of this whole thing.
