Bring your pet and protest--Monday, March 14th from 4pm - 6pm at Pekin City Hall. I hope that those of you in the Pekin, IL area can make it. "Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired yet? Do you feel like it's time to quit feeling sorry for the victim animals and do something about it? If you answered yes, good, we are too, and this is what we're going to do about it. The Complaint Department is inviting all animal lovers, and pet owners to bring your pets on down to Pekin city hall and exercise your first amendment right. We can't do anything now about how the State Attorney office went about their business dealing with the lack of the physical evidence because of city chief code enforcement officer Ronny Sieh's indifference before him. Those that agree, that In any civil society, this type of depraved indifference by any civil servant can't be tolerated by the government that employs them. Please bring your pet down to city hall and let the city council know a $50 fine might be fine for some, for a 75 year old woman's punishment, but a paid vacation for Ron Sieh's roll in all this isn't acceptable. The right to peaceably assemble (which includes your pets) and the right to petition government for redress of grievances is the right to make a complaint to, or seek the assistance of, one's government, without fear of punishment or reprisals."
