Palestinians students do not feel seen or represented. The school boards highly omit learning about the history of Palestine and it’s people. As a result of this, Palestinian students don’t feel safe expressing their identity in schools across the GTA in fear of retaliation and being labeled as anti-Semitic. 

When students of any background feel a lack of representation students don’t feel safe at school and are not interested in their education. So when students do feel represented not only would they feel safe at school but they will be interested in their education and their critical thinking skills would be put to work. 

Our goal is to have the school boards incorporate the TRUE history of Palestine and it’s people; to allow and celebrate the freedom of expression of the Palestinian identity-just as we do for a plethora of others.
