Come to a Fair Settlement with CWA Local 6171 Union Bargaining Committee

The Issue

For the past six months Verizon workers have been actively engaged in contract negotiations with Verizon management.

While Verizon reports billions in profits and their top six executives received pay totaling 70.3 million dollars in 2011, the Company is demanding excessive reductions from their employees covered by Collective Bargaining Agreements as well as capping and freezing future retiree benefits.

The Verizon workers are not asking for those kind of riches. We want a good standard of living and fair working conditions. With the Natiional unemployment rate being 7.8% we continue to seek job security and to reduce the number of jobs being outsourced.

Please join our efforts to fight for good jobs and stand up to Corporate greed at Verizon.
