Pedicare: Help children grow with proper nutrition in Bangladesh

The Issue

The successful growth of a nation depends on proper growth of its children. Therefore, proper nutrition for the infants is a must. Currently, there are very few foreign weaning food products for babies available at local markets of Bangladesh, which are very costly. Thus, a massive number of parents are failing to provide supplementary food for the proper growth of their babies despite their earnest interest to provide for their kid to ensure their bright future. Pedicare is going to be a low priced and highly nutritious baby food, having the presence of all important nutritional needs for children aged between six months and three years which will help greatly in proper physical and mental growth for the champions of tomorrow. Indigenous elements will reduce price while not sacrificing on quality. Making this a sustainable social business will ensure nutrition to millions of infants and save huge foreign exchange every year.

Here, the addressed social problems are-

     # Malnutrition.

     # Impediment towards proper physical and mental growth of pre-school going children.

     # Lack of Social justice for underprivileged children.

Pedicare is currently the only competing team from Bangladesh in the Social Business Creation Competition 2016 which is arranged by HEC, Montreal and Grameen Creative Lab, Germany. In order to excel in this competition and represent the power and courage of the young minds in Bangladesh, we need to showcase public support and crowd funding.

We believe, it would be an honor for us to represent our country at this international platform and initiate a sustainable solution for the betterment of our country and her children. But without everyone’s help we are helpless. So, please sign and if possible provide your valuable comments at this petition page. Be a part of a good deed.
