At the moment Pakistan Cricket Team is on a tour to India for Cricket World Cup 2023. Muhammad Rizwan who is known for his dedication to Islam and his sentiments towards Islamic faith has been targeted by right-wing fanatics in Modi's India.

Hindu slogans which should otherwise be used as a symbol of Hindu faith were used to express hatred towards him during India Pakistan match in Ahmedabad on 14th October 2023. Moreover, a lawyer by name of Vineet Jindal has filed a complaint against Muhammad Rizwan for offering namaz on the ground during drinks' break which is not prohibited either under ICC code of conduct or India's laws. This is nothing but instigation of hate and pure signs of Islamophobic elements in today's India.

We the people of Pakistan are genuinely concerned and worried about our players' safety and want PCB to take up the matter with ICC, and if no satisfactory response is achieved then with ICC. We cannot just sit there and wait for a mishap to happen under an environment of so much hate and bigotry - our players' lives come first!!!
