It's been years since I previously updated on this petition: My previous update had directed Wild Kratts fans to Bluemaxima's Flashpoint, as well as other archives of the old games. There, all of the old Wild Kratts Flash games, (with the exception of Habitat Rescue, Dolphin Dive, Flower Flyer, and the mini-puzzles on Creature Roundup, unfortunately,) were saved and could be played by fans for years to come.
I felt there was no need to continue updating the petition until an idea had came up in my mind.
And that is for the Flash Games to be remade into Mobile Downloads, available to play on mobile devices.
When The Adventures of The Electric Company on Prankster Planet Part 2: Reverse-A-Ball was taken down, PBS Kids remade it into a mobile app. It had a slightly different design than the original version, and the cutscenes were removed, but overall it still had the same feel as the original, even with its differences.
I think the very same can be done for Wild Kratts. PBS Kids can convert the old Flash Games to be playable on Mobile Downloads, with different formats, visuals, and styles, but still overall the same game in nature.
Wild Kratts is already as popular as a show as it is, despite the hiatus: Having won a Canadian Screen award, as well as producing a 7th season set for next year, a movie in development. Remaking the old games as available mobile downloads would do benefits for the show itself.
- It would help the older fans relive their childhood, playing the PowerSuit Bonus games, especially for those who do not have/cannot download Flashpoint.
- It would introduce younger fans to these legitimately educational games and give them as positive an experience as the Flash games gave to us.
- It would continue to promote the show, especially during the 2-year hiatus we are currently going through at the time of making this update.
- The lost games that are unavailable on Flashpoint, and thus are out of reach for those who have FP would be available on the mobile revivals. Which means all of them, including, no, especially Habitat Rescue Game, would finally be in the grasp of the public again after 3 long years.
Flashpoint serves as a sanctuary for some of the old games, but PBS can revive the new games in a way that benefits everyone and can bring us relief and nostalgia for years to come.
We're nearing 5,000 signatures, so the more you boost and promote this petition, the greater our chances will be:
In the event that this petition fails, I once again remind you to download Bluemaxima's Flashpoint and play the available Wild Kratts old Flash Games and features: https://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/downloads/
Thank you, and have a good night.
