As of Friday, May 8th, 2020 we have reached 301 signatures on our petition to return the old features to the Wild Kratts website. However, there is a new opportunity to make the features better than ever.
There are 5 games which feature new Creature Powers; Croc-Hatch, Frogfish Feast, Flower Flyer, Aardvark Town, and Web-Tastic, featuring Nile Crocodile, Frogfish, Hummingbird, Aardvark, and Spider Power.
These creature powers were found on the Your Room page before its deletion. However, the habitats were never updated to suit these Creature Powers.
I feel like updating the Habitats to fit these creature power suits would be more fitting as it would allow the player to explore more into the habitat with these creature powers; For example, learning that hummingbirds can hover backwards, forwards and even up-side down, and in the Central American Rainforest and Coral Reef, the player can use the arrow keys, or specific keys to turn upside down, or pivot in other ways.
There are two new creature power suits that were fit for the habitats; Rattlesnake and Dolphin. However, these suits have one thing in common with the above-mentioned.
They were not in the Habitat Rescue Game. I feel like adding these creature powers in would've expanded the game and make it more interesting and astounding to young players. This would mean adding the African Savannah Habitat, the Central American Rainforest and Coral Reef Habitat, and the Sonoran Desert Habitat amongst the habitats the player has to rescue.
A good example is the player using Hummingbird Power in the Central American Rainforest to miniaturize to bird size and slip through quick spaces. Or the player using Dolphin Power to leap through pollution.
In addition, Season 4 of Wild Kratts has added a new main antagonist, Paisley Paver, who is now a recurring villain in the series. Naturally as the Habitat Rescue Game took place during Season 1 before Paisley Paver, and the new creature power suits were even a concept.
Adding these suits and the new villain would help the games' success as well as the site's success, and ultimately, expand the show even more as we know it.
