Every year, tens of thousands of dogs (mainly consisting of Beagles) are subjected to laboratory testing for a variety of scientific and commercial purposes. These innocent creatures endure immense suffering as they are used in experiments that often involve pain, distress, and often death. The Humane Society International estimates that over 60,000 dogs are used in lab testing annually in the United States alone. 

We urge lawmakers to help legislate the prohibiting of lab testing on Beagles or any other animals. We call upon research institutions and commercial companies to invest more resources into developing non-animal test methods which are ethical and able to yield superior results.
