Paws Off Testing: Animals Belong Outside the Lab

Paws Off Testing: Animals Belong Outside the Lab
The Issue
PAWS OFF TESTING! Testing should be done in labs, not on animals!
Each year, over 50 million animals suffer painful experiments with the chances of survival being low due to intentional exposure to toxic chemicals, leading to disease and death according to an article entitled “Taking Suffering Out of Science”.
The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, of 1960, was introduced to prevent unnecessary pain or suffering from being inflicted on animals. However, as drugs are an essential commodity animals are widely used in preclinical studies for many serious diseases due to their similar biology to humans. To add to that, people also use animals to test cosmetic products to check whether the product is safe and hypoallergenic. However, testing on these animals does not mean that they simply apply cosmetics on animals, instead, they cruelly expose animals to toxicity testing through oral force-feeding, forced inhalation, skin or injection into the abdomen, muscle, etc., causing illness, pain, distress, or even death.
Paws Off Testing is a campaign that aims to advocate against animal testing and educate people especially those who are taking medications, using cosmetics, chemicals, and different drugs about the procedures they go through while in the process of making. This campaign aims to empower consumers to make informed decisions about the products they use and support. Paws Off Testing strives to promote a positive change in the cosmetic industry and create a world where products are formulated without creating any harm to animals while also ensuring the safety of the consumers.
Join the “Paws Off Testing” campaign today and take action against animal testing in all its forms! Stand up for ethical practices in product development by choosing cruelty-free alternatives and advocating for change. Together, we can make a difference and create a world where animals are no longer subjected to unnecessary suffering for the sake of human use. END ANIMAL TESTING NOW! Your signature matters.
