My daily journey along Haggerty Road, along with other neighboring dirt roads, has become a dangerous gamble. Our cherished vehicles are subjected to unimaginable strain, leading to breakdowns and costly damage, primarily due to the crudely maintained dirt roads. A glaring example, in the middle of Haggerty Road, is a gaping pothole, creating a potential disaster zone. Despite three repair attempts, including installing a new culvert, the issue relentlessly persists.

The road's deteriorated condition not only poses a physical threat but also serves as a financial burden to many of us, with repair costs piling up. According to the American Automobile Association (AAA), driving on such poor roads can cost motorists $600 per year in some cities (Source: AAA Newsroom).

The perilous state of Haggerty Road and the surrounding dirt roads are not just my reality but ours as a community. We have the right to safe and well-maintained roads.
