Pave Dehaan Loop and Marlink BLVD for Safer Commutes to School

The Issue

As someone deeply connected to Valencia Middle School and the community it serves, the state of the essential roads leading to the school, Dehaan Loop and Marlink BLVD, are of immediate concern. These roads are used daily by parents and caregivers to transport their children to and from school and work, and their current unpaved state leads to a menace, not only making commute difficult but also attracting people to use these areas as dumping grounds for garbage and dead animals.

Furthermore, the trash left behind on the roads can even promote disease, posing a significant danger to pedestrians and wildlife alike and diminishes our collective quality of life. The journey to and from school shouldn't be interrupted by the challenges these unpaved roads deliver.

While paving roads requires financial resources, we must weigh the cost against the safety, hygiene, and quality of life of our children and communities. The students are the future of our society, and their access to education should not be compromised due to impracticable and unclean roads. Hence, we urge our local governing bodies to prioritize the paving of Dehaan Loop and Marlink BLVD and take actions at the earliest convenience.

Please lend your support to this essential cause for a cleaner, safer, and better future for our children - sign this petition and take a stand for the importance of improving our local infrastructure. Let's make the daily commute to Valencia Middle School safe and clean for our children.
