As frequent travelers on this unpaved road, we experience firsthand the challenging conditions of 145th Avenue and 4th Street. The high amount of daily traffic on this rough, often ungraded dirt road is not only inconvenient but also poses safety and financial risks. The uneven surface impedes the speed of emergency vehicles and causes considerable damage to the vehicles of daily commuters, bringing on unnecessary expenses for families.

Moreover, the severity of the road's condition often forces vehicles to swerve dangerously onto the shoulders to avoid large potholes. In order to avoid damage to vehicles, travelers are often forced to bypass 145th/4th by driving through the Green Lake Ridge Neighborhood to 2nd street. If commuting to US 131, that adds an extra 10 minutes of travel time. 

We urge the local government to take immediate action to pave 145th Avenue and 4th Street. The enhanced road quality will not only ensure the safety of its frequent users but also alleviate undue wear and tear on vehicles, perhaps even saving lives in emergency situations.
