My cat was run over and killed last night, the driver was caught on my camera speeding and on the wrong side of the road. With no due care or consideration he ran her over and just left her there. Its not fair that almost all other animals if being involved in a car accident will be declared to the local authorities, yet cats are "too small of an animal" to be "declared". I think this is disgraceful. I want this to change. If that driver had stopped and took my cat to the vets then she may still be with us today. No matter what animal, or big or how small, they are still part of our family, and we all grieve the same. This needs to change, I cannot accept that my cat has been run over and killed and no-one will be made accountable for this.
