Reopen APFFN (The All Pink Floyd Fan Network)

Reopen APFFN (The All Pink Floyd Fan Network)
The Issue
All Pink Floyd Fan Network (Also known as APFFN or BMJPFF) was a Pink Floyd fan site that operated from 1995 to 2015, when it was shut down by it's owner, known on the site as "The Piper".
The site all started in 1995 when The Piper, who was still a teenager at that point, was disappointed that he couldn't find much information about his favorite band, Pink Floyd, on the internet. So he decided to create a forum for the purpose of discussing about Pink Floyd with his friends.
Throughout the years, the site grew and more and more members joined the site. It wasn't simply a Pink Floyd fan site anymore, they were talking about all kinds of music, and everyone started to think of it as a place where they felt comfortable, and where they could have discussions about their favorite subjects.
I joined the site in 2015, the same year it was shut down. I had just got into Pink Floyd and wanted to talk to more people about it. It was a wonderful place, I met many friends for life, and I still keep in contact with them to this day.
However, one day in 2015, two of our users, one of them being the moderator, got into a seriously heated argument. Me and another moderator tried to pacify the situation, but it was no use. When I woke up the next morning, I found that the user had sent a total of 4 complaints to us. The Piper wasn't happy that this happened, and eventually shut down the site, which we believed was temporary. We were thinking that it would reopen in about 2 weeks.
However, when the site re-opened, there was a nasty surprise waiting for us. The forums were still open, but there was a message from The Piper on the front page- that said he is closing down the site, because he doesn't have much time to manage it. We didn't know when this would take place, but we all had to say farewell to a place we got used to. About a week from the posting of the message, the site was shut down, and when we tried to access it, lyrics from Pink Floyd's song "Eclipse" would show up, with a message saying "APFFN 1995~2015". Soon after, the domain was left blank.
This place wasn't simply somewhere where we talked with friends, this was home for me. Where I truly felt comfortable and knew that I could talk about anything with them. Where I learned that internet friendship can have just as much value as real life. It became a part of my life, and it became a part of me. For the first time, when the site was shut down, I felt a sense of stinging ring through my heart, because I knew it wasn't a site that was just for talking or killing time. It was where we could make friends, discuss, and be happy together. Where you could share emotions with your friends. Where I felt truly at home.
We, former members of APFFN, formally ask The Piper to reopen the All Pink Floyd Fan Network, which gave meaning to our lives, and friends for life.
