We demand the resignation of Paula Gold-Williams the CEO of CPS Energy.  When the winter storm hit Texas, why was CPS energy not ready for this storm?  This was predicted to be one of the worst winter storms in the last decade, but yet CPS Energy was not ready and millions of Texas Residents went without power often for hours and hours at a time in sub-freezing temperatures.  

Why was one neighborhood targeted for blackouts yet other neighborhoods had their power on the whole time?  There was no communication from CPS Energy to the public to help dispel our fears.  Many of us thought we were going freeze in our own homes.  Many went for hours worrying about if their senior citizen family members can survive this numbing cold with no power in their homes.

CPS Energy froze in the middle of this winter storm and someone needs to pay the price.  We are demanding a new leadership change at CPS Energy starting at the top with CEO Paula Gold-Williams.

Does this really look like the resume of someone that should be controlling power for millions of Texas Residents?  I do not feel like CPS energy can handle these challenging times with this kind of resume:

Paula has an associate’s degree in fine arts from San Antonio College. She earned a BBA in accounting from St. Mary’s University, as well as a finance and accounting MBA from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
