Hello we're a First Lego League team in a little town named Springfield, MN. We are putting a petition on here for you because we want something devastating to the environment to be banned in Minnesota. We're talking about microbeads! They are the little plastic balls in your soaps that you feel when you wash your hands. Microbeads can also be found in face washes, body washes, hand sanitizers, and toothpastes. They start in homes, go down the drain, and eventually into rivers and the ocean. They can get in stomachs of turtles and other sea creatures. The creatures will feel full and starve to death. Bill HF 834 has been proposed to ban the sale of products with synthetic microbeads in Minnesota. By signing this petition you are showing support for this bill.
