I talked to an aid for Congressman Tonko. He told me that I could not talk to Congressman Tonko based on the fact that I was not in his district. If you are in Congressman Tonko's district, please call him and ask about progress on H.R. 2622 and the predicted outcome of the bill!!! Anyone in New York? I am going to contact my Congressman locally and make an appointment and hand him our petition. I am also going to send a hard copy of the petition to Congressman Tonko's Washington D.C. office. We need 700 more signatures please! I know a lot of you have worked on this, but there are a lot of people who did not sign it. We need 700 more please!
