We are raising support from the community to help us get permission or special permitting from the state that allows us to use the Argo 8x8 amphibious vehicle to clean the creeks of Franklin County.

To date we have removed well over 36,500lbs of trash from 44 miles of the East Branch of the Conococheague Creek, this has all been done by means of physical labor and dragging flat bottom boats up and down the creek. 

The Argo 8x8 is the least invasive machine on the market used in agricultural, fire and rescue, as well as many other fields.

The Argo only put 1.6lbs of pressure per square inch to the ground, our footstep averages 10lbs of pressure per square inch, it is also sealed so there is no chance of fluids leaking into the creek.

The Argo will help us in many ways from drastically reducing the physical labor we endure near weekly year round, it will also help us in the event of an emergency, we can get a person out of the creek to seek medical attention much faster than floating them in a boat, it also allows young kids, elderly, and physical handicapped folks to join us in the creek which may not be able to otherwise. 

There is decades of trash piled up in our creeks and this machine is the answer to removing it with very little impact to the creek.
