We found out that in Minnesota that social workers for the county do not need a license. That this is optional. We believe that this is an injustice. Child Care Providers, Teachers and other occupations need a proper license to help and care for children. This change in license was approved by Governor Dayton in May 2015 and became in effect in 2016.
