In Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle school, there has been an unnecessarily strict dress code for students put in place. Any kids that can’t afford brand new clothes for the school year could get suspended and even expelled. Students aren’t allowed to have any shirts over collared shirt, patterned button-ups, button-ups as jacket, hoods, leggings, sweatpants, ripped jeans, all skirts must be a certain length even if there are pants under it, and students aren’t even allowed to wear school shirts most of the time. It is so unnecessary that these rules be put in place. If you are a student, please share this with your peers.
