The sale of animals in pet stores is cruel and it allows for puppy factories to continue. Animals are often sick and as they are put in tiny cages, are left to lie in there own excrement. Animal shelters are unfortunately having to euthanize healthy animals due to lack of space. This could be combated if the sale of animals in pet shops became prohibited. It will force people to adopt from an animal shelter or reputable breeder. The sale of pets in pet shops is cruel, and should be banned. I call for people to sign this petition in order to stop the display and selling of pets in pet stores. Rescue animals need a home. Adopt.....don't shop
