LOCAL MPS SHOULD INVOLVE THEMSELVES IN THIS ISSUE - NOW!

I sent this to Nick Boles + Matt Warman, Dr Caroline Johnson & Karen Lee on 26th February. It’s about time they got together to insist ALL the issues are resolved. (The meeting report I refer to has been posted in an earlier update).
“Please find attached the report I wrote following my meeting with ULHT Facilities Execs. I would be grateful if Mr Boles could look at this. I’m copying in other MPs in the area as I believe it is time they all got together to address this ongoing issue. The petition I started has around 2000 signatures now, which shows the level of feeling - and I’ve only tapped into a small proportion of the population.
I think it is time ULHT & ParkingEye suspended the system which isn’t working consistently. It shouldn’t be brought back into use for visitors OR staff until at least the following has been addressed:
1) ALL PCNs issued in error for both visitors and staff have been reviewed and cancelled.
2) The ‘glitches’ in the system that cause PCNs to be issued erroneously are eradicated.
3) The new system for pre-registration of Blue Badge holder vehicles is in place.
4) At least one paystation per site is inside the building.
5) Good2go has completed work to make their app useable for Blue Badge holders.
6) Problems for wheelchair users at the kiosks have been resolved.
The other issues I mention in my report really need attention as soon as possible.
I hope all the MPs in the area can use their influence to bring about suspension as described above and work to get this system which is causing so much misery and distress to the most vulnerable into a state that is ‘fit for purpose’ - it isn’t right now!
Regards
Sue McQuinn”
PLEASE KEEP SHARING THE PETITION - NEED TO SHOW THE STRENGTH OF FEELING ABOUT THESE PROBLEMS HAS NOT DIMINISHED!!!
