In the United States, there is a problem with police brutality and gun violence. Police Brutality is a problem in this country in which we have people of color being profiled, attacked or even killed with no justice for the families of the victims. Gun violence is another problem in which there needs to be a procedure like background checks for those who purchase guns in order to decrease gun violence. I have written this amendment proposal to handle the issue of police brutality and gun violence in this country. My goal with this amendment is to have it passed through Congress to become a law for the country and to decrease the gun violence and police brutality in the country.
