As Facebook, Twitter and other "communications companies" that are social content provides/platforms need to be considered publishers under the law and held liable as such.

Facebook, Twitter, along with Apple, Spotify and others, have chosen to edit what content is allowed on their sites. While this is absolutely appropriate for private companies to do if they so wish, this now means that they are controlling the content they provide. Due to this, they should be held liable under the law as publishers and not communications companies.
