Dear Supporters, we are beyond words and can't even describe the amazing feeling it has been to watch the world help one man...one man who risked it all to save the lives of two injured animals. Thank you all for your kind words, your letters and notes of encouragement, and your support for Mr. Steve Patterson. If you didn't receive our last two updates, Mr. Patterson was found NOT GUILTY on February 26th from all charges related to his rescue of two injured baby bald eagles in LaSalle County, Illinois. Now that the trial is over, we are working diligently to help Mr. Patterson recover some of his life savings that was spent for legal fees to fight the court battle and clear his name. We have reached 30% of the goal in less than 48 hours which is AMAZING! Thank you again for all that you have done to help this man and his family. This will be our last update on the case and the fundraiser until the attorney receives the funds that have been raised to help to cover some (if not all) of Mr. Patterson's legal fees. We will post one more update at that time to let you know about the final amount that was raised, and will post of photo of Mr. Patterson and his attorney with the check.
