The current batch of Conservative Party membership cards are just laminated paper. As other UK parties, including the Liberal Democrats and Labour Party, have plastic cards more similar to bank cards, we are asking for plastic membership cards for members of our Party.

The paper cards are prone to creasing, as well as tearing. Members have commented upon the stickiness of the cards and how they do not stand the test of time in our wallets.

Although a very small change, we believe that a stronger plastic membership card would be a better alternative to the current paper variation. It would be symbolic of a strong Party, the current Party of Government in the United Kingdom.
