Thousands of healthy dogs and Cats have been euthanized because shelters are over capacity and irresponsible owners don't prevent overpopulation by spaying or neutering their pets.  These animals could be loving family members if they had a chance.  They have done nothing wrong, they were just born.  They are helpless to this horrible cycle that has gone on for years.  Nothing has been done to improve the situation.  No one seems to care about them. I want the state of North Carolina to show they care for these beautiful animals.  I want them to ban the killing of these healthy animals.  I want them to fund better facilities that can accommodate more animals.  I want the facilities to provide low cost spaying and neutering to pet owners and spay and neuter all pets for adoption.  I want them to set up a transport program to get pets to out of state adopters.  The killing of innocent animals needs to STOP!  Please tell the Governor he needs to care!
