I have been away for several days and unfortunately change.org is blocked over the border in mainland China. So it was impossible to do any updates without going the expensive data roaming route which for some strange reason seems to get you around the Great Firewall of China even though your phone is connected to a local China network......FYI to all you travellers: that also gives you access to other blocked websites such as FB and Instagram. While I was up there I had the chance to see some wasted EPS or polystyrene. In fact, you see it everywhere. What I was told by my local friends in Ningbo during this trip was that only 1 of 2 things happens to waste like the pile in the photo. It gets thrown in the dump or just burned on the spot. Just lit on fire and as I was told, "fills the air with black smoke". I guess one could say that there is some room up there for a little education too :-| At the time of writing this, we've reached 515 but progress has slowed considerably. So here goes nothing.....I am putting an SOS out there to all folks receiving this email please.
