Stop the removal of Penny the cat from the Swansea library
Having a cat in the library has been a long running tradition in Swansea for many years now. When I was younger I would always look for Spooky the cat in the library. Since then I have been bringing other children there who do the same as I did years ago with Penny. Throughout those years and to this day there has not been one formal complaint expressed to the Swansea library about Penny being a nuisance or driving people away due to cat allergies. On the contrary, Patrick Higgins who has received numerous complaints from the citizens of Swansea is "demanding" the removal of Penny claiming her presence violates federal disabilities law and the 2011 settlement agreement under the Americans with Disabilities Act with the Department of Justice. Even though it is stated in the article that there was an agreement but the removal of Penny was never included. Please help me in trying to help this innocent and defenseless animal against this attention seeking misfit keep it's rightful place at it's home of 9 years in the Swansea Public Library.
