As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu About 2 years ago, you signed a petition in support of the Thornton Islamic Society being granted a long term lease with the view of setting up a permanent place of worship. We are pleased to announce that negotiations are moving along, although somewhat slow, and we now find ourselves at a crucial junction in need to rally support to endorse our offer to purchase the land in order to build a Masjied insha'Allah. As part of the formal process, an advert is being circulated asking for comments, support or abjections to the sale of the property. We therefore, humbly request your endorsement for this sale to go in favour of the Thornton Isdlamic Society as highlighted in the procedure below: Thornton Bowling Club to be sold The City has advertised the sale of the old Thornton Bowling Club to the Thornton Islamic Society.
