Many of us (me included) deal with severe chronic pain, short term acute pain, severe anxiety and ADD/ADHD that make even the basics of life difficult because we are dealing with so many chronic issues.  Equally many deal with acute pain and anxiety too.  

The CDC put forth Draconic Pain Mecication Giudelines in 2016 that caused many pain patients to eith lose their pain medications entirely of have them cut to a mere fraction of what they needed to live productive lives.  And, many were completely cut from pain medication.  Now common anxiety and ADHD medications are being cut or completely taken away from those who need them.

Then the DEA supported these guidelines by going after doctors who were trying to. help patients. This put doctors in a situation where they could be arrested for prescribing legal, medications that helped many people.  All this time, the DEA should have been focused on street drugs and illicit fentanyl (not the kind used in hospitals for surgery and other pain management practices).  Unfortunately,  the Main Stream  Media (MSM) chose to stick its nose into an area that they have shown to be ignorant about.  Articles about illicit street drugs almost always show prescription bottles from pharmacies.  HINT: ILLICIT STREET DRUGS ARENT PACKAGED IN STANDARD PILL BOTYLES USED BY PHARMACIES.   It s way to make the general public think people get addicted to prescriptions.  Research shows this is a very rare occurrence, but PROP, the DEA, and even the CDC want people to think addiction and overdoses occur with legal and safe prescriptions.  

Thr real story is that legally prescribed pain, anxiety and ADHD medications are safe and effective.  And while prescribing has decreased by around 50%, overdoses have skyrocketed to 4 times their original numbers.

Lets get the truth out there and stop denying pain patients their safe, effective, and legal medications that allow them to live a good quality of life.  There’s no reason any of us should live with untreated pain, anxiety or ADHD in 2022 and 2023. We can win this battle and improve the quality of our lives.  It’s time for the zealots who want to do away with the controlled medications we need to stop controlling the lives of people in pain and/or gdealinh with anxiety and ADHD.
